Spreading the Ancient Orthodox Christian Faith in South Florida
| Length of Program - Program is divided into four semesters of standard 14 weeks each.
- Completion of program requires two years of study.
- Academic year begins each September with Autumn Semester.
Class Structure - Classes are held on Saturdays only (designed for working students and long-distance commuters).
- Day begins with Divine Liturgy, followed by first class (3 hours); after lunch break, second class begins (3 hours).
Courses - Eight courses are offered (24 credits) over two years; two courses each semester.
- Year One courses: Liturgics I; Liturgics II; Old Testament; New Testament.
- Year Two courses: Dogmatic Theology I; Homiletics; Church History I; Orthodox Spirituality.
Cost - Students pay the normal tuition rate for St Tikhon's Seminary ($105/credit hour)
- Current tuition per semester (6 credits) is $630.
- Students will also need to purchase a "meal ticket" for lunch (cost yet to be determined).
