http://www.orthodoxmiami.org/ 60 http://www.orthodoxmiami.org/public/sv/gallery.php?ssid=41 Sat, 14 Apr 2012 00:00:00 -0400 <div><img border="0" hspace="5" vspace="0" align="left" src="http://www.orthodoxmiami.org/display_image.php?ext=JPG&relativeimage=images/2012 Events/Holy Sat Chrismations/IMG_1829.JPG&archive=0&final_h=67&final_w=90&percent=100"> <div style="text-align: justify;">On Holy Saturday, Bishop MARK of Baltimore, Fr Philip and Fr Joseph chrismated eight new members who were formally members of the King of Glory Anglican Mission in Miami Springs.  Their former priest, Carlos Miranda, was among the group received into the Orthodox Church.<br /><br />A relationship with the Anglican Mission was established last autumn between Carlos and Fr Joseph.  During the course of their dialogue, the decision was made by the core families of the Mission to become Orthodox.  After the initial catechism, the Mission closed at the beginning of Great Lent, and the members began a more intense catechism and preparation for Holy Chrismation.<br /><br />Many years to the newly-illumined servants of God Carlos, Dalia, Daniel, Anthony, Angela, Ian, Andrew and Joy!<br /></div> </div> Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Saviour http://www.orthodoxmiami.org/public/sv/gallery.php?ssid=41
